Proclamation of Forgiveness – prelude

The Proclamation of Forgiveness
Official Acceptance of US Congressional Apology Resolutions For Slavery and Jim Crow
U.S. House of Representatives (HR-194 July 26, 2008) | US Senate (S.Res-39 June 11, 2009)

By American, black, US citizens, i.e., "the sons of former slaves" and Jim Crow Survivors

Whereas, in response to the official resolution, HR#194 Apology For Slavery (chattel) and Jim Crow, rendered by Congress of the House of Representatives on June 26, 2008, followed by that of the Senate on February 3, 2009, being one third of the federal government;

Whereas, in this professed, Judaic-Christian, “one nation under GOD”, it is required that they whom are convicted of sin-wrong doing, and seek forgiveness from the offended;

Whereas, it is therefore imperative that the offended forgives the seeker of such, that their own pleas to GOD for mercy, forgiveness and blessing be heeded;

Whereas, Jesus-Yeshuah Christ solemnly admonishes warns,

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if you forgive not others of their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.”  [James 5:16]

Whereas, the Apology Resolution has been a hidden secret from chattel slave descendants-Jim Crow survivors and the general public since its 2008-2009 enactment;

Whereas, after 145 years of demanding such apology, and it being rendered to them, the descendant of chattel slaves-Jim Crow survivors, until now have not had the opportunity to act upon it;

Whereas, our neglect to respond to 2008-2009 Congressional Apology may be a significant cause for the present plethora of woes that we chattel slave descendants et al, experience since its rendering;

Whereas, according to the divine rule of apology and forgiveness, and the sake of healing the inherited, racial wound to the national, collective and generational soul of We the People, being now our turn to respond by accepting the official Apology of one third of the US federal government, that being both Houses of Congress;

Therefore be it resolved that we, the chattel slave descendants-Jim Crow survivors, US citizens as do hereby resolve to accept, embrace and act on this long awaited for official federal apology:

And as stated in the Apology Resolution, we will join with We the People, fellow US citizens represented by Congress in expressing its commitment to rectify the lingering consequences of the misdeeds committed against us and to stop the occurrence of human rights violations in the future.
