The Imperative to Forgive
"A bright light of Christ has shone out  of Charleston"

The term and practice of forgiveness is the fundamental, foundational and imperative precept in the spiritual operation of GOD’s salvation to humanity, without which there in none.

Forgiveness is not only essential, but imperative in gaining and maintaining a working relationship with HIM

“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if you forgive not others of their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. So likewise shall shall My Heavenly Father do also to you, if you from your hearts forgive not everyone his brother their trespasses."

The sacred practice begins with acknowledgment, confession and repentance of wrong-doing and sin directly against our Heavenly Father, followed by that with our brethren, HIS children.

HE teaches through HIS First begotten Son, Jesus-Yeshuah that we are to Love GOD with all that is within us, and our neighbors as ourselves, thereby forming a triad relationship of life in which one is invalid without the other two.

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment.  And the second is like unto it, You shalt love your neighbour as yoursef\lf.  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. [Mathew 22:37-40]

The Two Shining Examples of Love and Forgiveness 
In light of the recent spat of racial turmoil surrounding the homicide of certain black men in the custody of various law enforcement officials in communities such as: Queens, New York City; Ferguson, Louisiana; Cleveland, Ohio; Baltimore, Maryland, etc; two shining examples of forgiveness has emerged as a guiding light and inspiration for national salvation as well as personal.

The two landmark acts that ignites the Proclamation of Forgiveness and movement for finally healing the chattel slavery-Jim Crow race wound that has plagued the Union of the United States since it was inherited from the British-English Crown empire, July 2-4, 1776.

The first occurred when on April 4, 2015, 47 years after the assassination of the Rev.-Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. the greatest and most significant civilian citizens in US history, a white Charleston police officer shot in the back and killed a black man by the name of Walter Lamar Scott, a US Military Coast Guard Veteran.

Note: The Charleston police officer who fired the fatal bullet into the back of Mr. Scott killing him, happens to also be a US Military Veteran of the Coast Guard.  The strange irony of it all!

However, unlike the aforementioned communities experiencing such acts by law enforcement personnel in which demonstrations, protests and riotous violence ensued, nothing of the kind was experienced in Charleston after the killing of Mr. Scott.

The second tragic incident occured on June 17, 2015, when a young, white boy, age 20, using a hand gun, cold bloodedly murdered and martyred 9 black, Jesus-Yeshuah Believers at a Bible study inside of the Mother Emanuel, African Methodist Episcopal church there in Charleston.

 Once again, within 2 months of the first tragedy in the town with the historically notorious reputation, no riotous behavior occurred, which is due primarily to the loving souls of the offended Charlestonians.

Note: There were protests against the former, southern Confederate, battle flag, demanding its removal from South Carolina State property after it was seen in photos being glorified by the murder of the nine martyrs.

Just Like Jesus-Yeshuah
Shockingly wonderful and hopeful for change for good to the nation and the world, was the Jesus-Yeshuah responses of the families of the slain victims, whom in His Spirit did as our Heavenly Father commands and demands.

Initiated by Ms. Judy Scott, the loving of slain Walter Lamar Scott, both she and the certain families and members of the believing church, each seperatly forgave the perpetrators of their sinful crimes, even without them asking forgiveness, if they ever will.

This is exactly what the totally innocent, Son of GOD did immediately after being nailed to and hoisted up on the cross of His suffering and death, pleaded to our Heavenly Father to “Forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.”

Apparently, before His crucifixtion, Jesus-Yeshuah walked in a spirit of ready forgiveness, as He had taught to forgive others who transgress against us, this is especially emphasized if and when they seek it by acknowledging their trespasses as well as apologizing for them and offering remedies for reconciliation.

This is what, “the sons of former slaves” and Jim Crow survivors, so called black peoples in the Union of the United States are confronted with by the official, Congressional Apology Resolution.  See Apology and Forgiveness

GOD, our Heavenly Father who has heard our cry as an oppressed peoples, even as HE did when the ancient Hebrews-Israelites enslaved in bondage of Egypt for circa 400 years cried out to HIM for relief, is now expecting us to free our brethren, "the sons of former slave owners", along with ourselves by forgiving them.

HE has given us reprieve and an opportunity to do judgment unto righteous justice in the matter of so called racial relations in the United States, even by following the initiating example of the Believers in Charleston, South Carolina.

Together, we, "the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners", must not allow their martyredom to be just another historically tragic occurance between black and white lives, but rather receive it as a blessed gift from GOD to help bring an spirit of forgiveness throughout our conutry, whereby we and it can be saved from the impending destruction.

Loving and Forgiving Enemies Is Hard To Do
For those of us who have not experienced what these faithful Believers have had to endure and continue to do so, let us begin to grow our faith by their example to love our neighbors, even those whom are the enemies and to actually forgive the peoples who took advantage of our peoples' weaknesses.

Like them, but as an offended peoples we must forgive the sins of our our white brothers, i.e., 'the sons of former slave owners" for their particiaption in the hundreds of years of African and chattel slavery trade; and those 99 years of cruel, generations-destroying, Jim Crowism; along with the vicious verbal abuses, violent persecutions to our property, business ventures and bodies (beatings), and chasings out of towns; including the thousands of hateful, racist, lynchings and murders that most of the perpetrators were not punished for.

Note: Example, between 1890 to 1910, circa 23,000 freed, chattel slavery descendants were lynched without anyone being prosecuted. 

The sacred "cross" of loving and forgiving our abusers is obviously and understandably difficult proposition, and GOD forbid that any more of our peoples will have to experience what these true Believers of Charlesoln have suffered.

 However, should any of us be chosen to bear this kind of burdon for the sake of others, may we too follow their humble and obedient example.

Perhaps, if a certain number of us who profess such faith in GOD will begin to practice what these Believers have demonstrated towards the larger matter of loving and forgiving our fellows from their trespassed against us, HE will then spare and bless us as a peoples.

Therefore, let us embrace the official, Congressional Apology Resolution and the US Senates Apology For Lynching.   

Standing in the glaring light of what Jesus-Yeshuah admonished and demanded of us by commandment from GOD upon HIS Throne in the Heavenly Courts, we, "the sons of former slaves", have no realistic choice but to to sit together at the MLK Table of Brotherhood to acknowledge, accept and act according to the official, Congressional Apology issued by our conjoined, paternal, twin brother, "the sons of former slave owners", and forgive them.

As forgiviness is a major uniting precept that is imperative in all aspects-denominations, groups of Christian belief, there is no controversy, nor can there be rejection of intents of The of Proclamation of Forgiveness.
